Flinn Completes Its Sale Of A Macon-Market FM

On Aug. 3, a Class A FM serving the Macon, Ga., market was sold by a formidable regional broadcaster.

This transaction has now closed, and it is the lone deal of note in a quiet Monday for media deals at the FCC. As a result, this station is now “in training.”

Three months ago, WWWD-FM 102.1 in Bolingbroke, Ga., was acquired by Radio Training Network from Flinn Broadcasting for $475,000.

Flinn has now closed on its sale of WWWD, which serves the Macon, Ga., market.

Serving as the exclusive broker in this transaction, representing Mr. Flinn, is Eddie Esserman of Media Services Group.

Memphis-based Flinn Broadcasting is led by George S. Flinn Jr., and continues to own television and radio stations throughout the U.S.

Radio Training Network, led by Jim Campbell, owns Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) radio stations throughout the southeastern U.S.
