NBC “Today Show” host Matt Lauer will escape bonds of the network’s morning schedule to do an interview with President George W. Bush, the first one-on-one session granted by the former President since he left the White House. It’s on the schedule for Wednesday, 11/10/10.
The occasion is the release of Bush’s book about key moments in his presidency, “Decision Points.” It is to be released by Crown Publishers the day before the interview.
NBC is calling the session a special edition of “Matt Lauer Reports.” Lauer and Bush will discuss the book, as well as key decision made by the former President both in his private life and while in office.
