Following the exit of Randy Michaels as CEO of Tribune Company there have been a slew of others out the door. The latest shake-up  is at the company’s only radio station, WGN-AM Chicago.

WGN Radio announced late Thursday that Program Director Kevin Metheny is gone, as is 7-10 pm host Jim Laski.

“We thank Kevin and Jim for their contributions to WGN Radio,” said VP/GM Tom Langmyer. “We’ve solidified our daytime lineup, which now features Greg Jarrett, Mike McConnell, John Williams, and Garry Meier, and we’ve improved our news coverage as a result of our growing partnership with the Chicago Tribune. The next step in the station’s evolution is the development of a show from 7-10 pm that best complements the rest of our evening programming — something on which we will be very focused going forward.”

The 7–10 pm timeslot will be hosted by a variety of guest hosts until a new show is announced, the station’s press release said. Steve Bertrand was guest host on Thursday night.
