Reach translator sale closes in Florida

Broadcast TowerReach Communications has closed on the sale of W246BO 97.1 Deltona, FL and W246BT 97.1 Clermont, FL to Clear Channel Broadcasting Licenses for $125K.

W246BO is currently dark, but previously aired WREH-FM “Reach FM” out of Cypress Quarters, FL. It’s 13 watts @ 394 feet HAAT.

W246BT currently rebroadcasts CCME’s WRUM-FM Orlando. It’s 27 watts @ 263 feet HAAT (see map).

Clermont and Deltona are on either side of Orlando. The two translators will likely air CCME’s WJRR-FM HD-2, which rebroadcasts Sports WYGM-AM Orlando.

Grundy County Broadcasters closed on the transfer of its 50% interest in GS Radio of Illinois (WZRK-AM Lake Geneva, IL) to equal partner Sovereign City Radio. The partnership was set to allow WZRK to move to Northbrook, IL by shutting down Grundy’s WCSJ-AM Morris, IL. Now WCSJ goes entirely to Grundy.

In other filings, Linda Waller-Barton closed on the sale of WSBV-AM South Boston, VA to Logan Broadcasting for $150K.
