Something is Terribly Amiss

We need to implement term limits for politicians and back up our police officers. That’s food for thought for your station’s commentary from DeLier Group President Mike DeLier ([email protected]).

I just don’t know, or at least I am unsure anymore. There seems to be a great possibility that what some have accused me of for a long time is true. Being stupid. If so, I apologize for all of my earlier editorials and commentaries where I have expressed my opinions. For those of you who have agreed with me, well, your co-workers might think you stupid as well. To MSNBC, CNN the alphabets, sometimes Fox, and others, including politicians of all parties and bureaucrats everywhere that are on the public dole I am not ready to wave a white flag, nor throw down the gauntlet, but I have to admit something is terribly amiss.

It involves more than political preferences, insurance, immigration issues et al. It involves, I think, a political narrative that one side is trying to push through at all costs. Certainly not only aided but managed to a large degree by the press. Change America. Change what we believe, what we will accept, which paths we follow as far as our religions faith is concerned. I fully understand what a progressive is.

I am amused by all the actors who rake in millions while firing a weapon sideways at the bad guys  in the movies, yet are out front on gun control. The same for the politicians who have body guards armed to the teeth, yet want us to turn over our protection …to Them? To those who have fences around their estates yet want open borders. I don’t understand those who can’t tell you what year the War of 1812 was fought or name three Presidents.

I don’t capitalize crazies and cheer when the men and women who wear the blue are gunned down? Mind boggling, Just mind boggling. I strongly suspect that Dr. Martin Luther King would have strong opinions about blm and advice for them. Dr. King certainly had a strong and righteous position in the 60’s.

There is n0 disagreement from me that there are issues that need to be discussed, recognized and changed, for everyone. Politicians need to keep their big mouths shut and go to the black communities with help, understanding, ideas, compassion and earn their respect. The rabble rousers, the Jacksons, Sharptons, should be retired and new voices of understanding, of ideas, about education and  compassion heard.

I am adamantly against those who threaten our police  with violence in any way . Why would anyone align themselves with those who do that? Everyone of the blm people should meet and speak to the black police chief, David Brown in Dallas before they take one more step, accuse the police one more time, espouse violent rhetoric one more time and that includes our President.

We ask the men and women in blue to protect us, well, we should be willing to protect them as well! Did I mention that we need term limits? We keep electing a political elite in this country. That’s our fault. I understand and am not confused about that at all.
