US Stations and Central Arkansas Radio Group are exchanging stations. However a significant amount of money is on the table as well.
Both organizations are based in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
US Stations wants to swap KLXQ(FM), Mountain Pine and KLBL(FM), Pearcy with CARP, lead by Gregory and Sheldon Shinn.
In exchange, CARP would swap to US Stations 4 Arkansas assets: KLAZ(FM) and KBHS(AM), both in Hot Springs, K288FP as well as KHRK(FM), Malvern.
In addition to the swap, US Stations has agreed to pay CARP $1.65 million at closing by wire transfer or check.
