Stocks slumped Friday on worries that Europe’s economic woes could spread to the US (or at least make things worse here!), while the Euro fell to 18-month lows versus the dollar and gold hit fresh records. Despite the drop, the three major indexes finished higher for the week. The Dow Jones industrial average lost 163 points, or 1.5%. It was a bad day for broadcasting stocks, with everything down, excepting ACME which was flat.
The RBR Radio Index was down 16.822, or 3.8%, to 426.437.
The TVBR Television Index was down 6.228, or 2.8%, to 213.938.
