Nielsen: Teen Radio TSL Grows With Age

Nielsen Audio¬†has delivered some more powerful ammo to fuel those “fake news” reports stating that America’s youth don’t consume the radio and prefer digital sources for music and entertainment:


Data released Friday shows that teens that were 12 years old in 2011 increased their average listening to AM and FM radio by an hour in 2017.

Here’s another positive statistic to share with your sales pros: Radio’s weekly reach amongst Gen Z and Millennials stands at 88% and 93% respectively.
