TV Upfront Sales Increase

Pile of MoneyNational television advertising upfront sales are increasing.


Though the process isn’t over, consultant Media Dynamics predicts national TV networks could see a 4.5% increase over last year, or $18+ billion.

That would mean a total of some $18.61 billion, reports Media Post.

Breaking that figure down, that comes to $9.86 billion for cable networks and $8.75 billion for broadcast networks.

TV saw dollar volumes come down for the past two years. Media Dynamics credits the rise due to concerns over the visibility of digital commercials, including ad blocking technology.
