Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig and Chris Tomson will offer SIRIUS XM listeners a track by track preview of their new album, Contra, before the album becomes commercially available. Koenig and Tomson will discuss everything from creating and recording the new album, to anecdotes about each song.
Listeners can hear a different song from Vampire Weekend’s Contra album each hour beginning Friday, January 8 at 5:00 pm on SIRIUS XMU, SIRIUS channel 26 and XM channel 43, and then Contra will be played in its entirety, with commentary from Koenig and Tomson, on Monday, January 11 at 5:00 pm ET and 9:00 pm ET.
