Week 4: Univision continues Year-to-Year Growth among key demos

 Univision Highlights – NPM Broadcast Prime Week of 10/11/10:  In the fourth week of the 2010-11 Season, Univision had double digit increases versus the same week last year among Total Viewers 2+ (+12%), Adults 18-49 (+18%), Adults 18-34 (+13%) and Adults 25-54 (+20%), while the English-language broadcast networks show declines in overall primetime.
 
•       Last week, Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX on 5 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-34, on 3 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-49 and on 6 out of 7 nights among Teens 12-17.
 
•        Univision finished the week as the #5 broadcast network in overall primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (3.8 million), Adults 18-49 (2.0 million) and Adults 18-34 (1.1 million); beating CW. Additionally, Univision continues to be the #1 broadcast  network among Kids 2-11 (472,000) for the fourth week in the current 2010-11 Season.
 
•        Univision was the #1 most-watched broadcast network in primetime on Friday night among Adults 18-49 (2.2 million), Adults 18-34 (1.3 million) and Teens 12-17 (251,000), and ranked #3 among Total Viewers 2+ (4.2 million) ahead of ABC, FOX, and CW.
 
•        On Friday night, the top three most-watched broadcast programs among Adults 18-34 were Univision’s #1 “Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel), #2 “Hasta Que El Dinero Nos Separe” (For Love or Money) and #3 “La Rosa De Guadalupe” (The Rose of Guadalupe).  Additionally among Adults 18-49, “Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel) was also the #1 program on Friday night.
 
•        Tuesday’s soccer match between Mexico and Venezuela (9:30p-12:05am) on Univision culminated with an average audience of nearly 4.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 2.4 million Adults 18-49, 1.3 million Adults 18-34, 1.4 million Men 18-49 and 785,000 Men 18-34 tuning in.  Of the three Mexican National Team friendly primetime matches aired on Univision, this was the 2nd highest-rated telecast among Adult 18-49, Adult 18-34, Men 18-49 and Men 18-34, and the highest-rated performance among Total Viewers 2+.
 
•        Univision’s Wednesday night live broadcast of the miners rescue, “Chile: Rescate En Esperanza 4” from 7pm-10pm, generated nearly 4.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 2.2 million Adults 18-49, 2.0 Adults 25-54, 1.1 million Adults 18-34 and 1.4 million Persons 12-34.   For the night (8-11pm), Univision was the #4 most-watched network during broadcast prime among Adults 18-34 (1.1 million) and Persons 12-34 (1.3 million), beating NBC, CW and among Adults 18-49 (2.1 million) Univision finished as the fifth-ranked network.
 
•        Saturday night, “Sábado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) made Univision the #2 broadcast network, behind FOX, on that night among Adults 18-34 (662,000) and Teens 12-17 (98,000); and beat NBC to take the #4 position among Adults 18-49(1.1 million).
 
•        This past Sunday’s episode of “¡Mira Quién Baila!” (Look Who’s Dancing!) generated its HIGHEST telecast performance since its premiere on 09/12/10 with 4.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 million Adults 18-34 and 2.2 million Adults 18-49.
