Ratings reporting source TVbytheNumbers has released its odds-of-survival predictions for 11 programs on the ABC schedule – and sad to say, one of them is already in need of the programming intensive care unit.
Gray’s Anatomy is every healthy, with a robust 1.52 TVbytheNumbers cancelation index score – but that is eclipsed by Modern Family’s 2.04. Two other programs are considered certain to survive until May 2013.
Even though it is not the lowest program on the scorecard, 666 Park Avenue is the other side of the coin – TvbytheNumbers believes it has no chance of making it to May.
Here’s the publication’s assessment of the ABC programs:
* Private Practice (0.65) more likely to be gone by May 2013 than not
* 666 Park Avenue (0.71) certain to be gone by May 2013
* Castle (0.74) survival by May 2013 is a toss-up
* Last Resort (0.76) more likely to be gone by May 2013 than not
* Scandal (0.76) survival by May 2013 is a toss-up
* The Middle (0.95) more likely to survive until May 2013 than not
* The Neighbors (0.95) survival by May 2013 is a toss-up
* Revenge (1.08) certain to survive until May 2013
* Once Upon A Time (1.36) certain to survive until May 2013
* Grey’s Anatomy (1.52) certain to survive until May 2013
* Modern Family (2.04) certain to survive until May 2013
