She currently serves as President of Latin World Entertainment Licensing, previously managed her own retail/licensing consulting business leading product and retail development for a variety of children’s entertainment properties, and before that worked at Twentieth Century Fox.

Meet the new Chief of Marketing at Hope Media Group, the recently formed religious broadcasting organization comprised of the Way Media and KSBJ Christian-themed radio operations.

Nancy Overfield takes the role while also assuming the post of GM for the storied Houston radio station KSBJ-FM and Spanish-language talk and teaching KHVU, the home for the growing “Vida Unida” network poised to gain a Miami-area FM home.

It’s a career transition for Overfield, who was Sr. VP of Marketing in her tenure at 20th’s Licensing & Merchandising. In that role, she managed multiple departments in the consumer products division, including sales, creative, product development, endorsements, and retail development for established properties such as The Simpsons, Home Alone 2 and the Alien franchise.

“To grow in our ability to engage absolutely as many people as possible across the nation to love Jesus, serve others, and spread hope, we’re now at a place where next-level strategic marketing is critically important,” said Hope Media Group CEO Joe Paulo. “Nancy’s executive leadership, her experience with marketing, brand development and proven creativity are an ideal fit for Hope Media Group. Plus, we know full well her passion for our mission since she has already been volunteering as a member of HMG’s board of directors.”

Overfield’s selection for the role is likely tied to her existing position as a Hope Media board member. She commented, “It was an honor to participate in the unprecedented merging of two dynamic ministries. Now, as Chief of Marketing for Hope Media Group and General Manager of KSBJ and Vida Unida, I am truly excited to be actively engaged in the growth of this extraordinary organization. I have personally experienced God’s healing and unending hope through this ministry, and I am passionate about spreading that to millions of others.”

Houston-based Hope Media Group merged in May of this year with Way Media.
