Corpus Christi, Tex.-based Mako Communications found itself with a group of low-power TV stations with a unique trait: the deadline to build them isn’t until 2023.

It decided to sell them, attracting a variety of buyers and prices. Now, it has a buyer for a facility serving the home of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.

Mako is selling the Construction Permit for low power television station K21OY-D (Facility ID No. 181776), licensed to Chico, Calif.

The buyer is California non-profit One Ministries, Inc.

It is agreeing to pay $25,000 for the unbuilt LPTV station.

Bob Heymann of the Chicago office of Media Services Group served as the exclusive
broker for Mako in this transaction.

K21OY-D joins a group of stations comprised of low-power facilities serving San Francisco, Santa Rosa, Salinas, Redding and Yuba City, all rebroadcasting KQSL-8 in Fort Bragg, Calif. and with a transmitter in Laytonville.

It offers Christian television programming.
