A FideliTV Find for a Florida Capital LPTV

A low-power television station serving the capital city of Florida is being sold.

The buyer? It’s been broadcasting on television since 1992 and launched an international television network in 2016.

That offering is likely on the way for Tallahassee.

International Broadcasting Network, tied to CrossTalk TV, is likely what’s coming to W25EN-D in Tallahassee, which is being sold by Hoschton, Ga.-based Maurice Bailey to FideliTV LLC, overseen by Randy Weiss, Ph.D.

Yes — that’s the same Randy Weiss that as of 2017 was co-Executive Chairman of Edge Spectrum, the broadcasting spectrum technology company.

He’s grabbing W23EN-D, a construction permit, for $25,000. A $5,000 deposit has been made to Bailey.

Weiss’ story has become famous across the Christian broadcast ministry landscape. Fifty years ago, he was in a rock and roll band, and used lots of drugs. In January 1973, after eloping just a few weeks before, his wife climbed out of their hand-painted 1964 Volkswagen Beetle and left him. This sent him on a spiritual journey that saw Weiss take a path toward Messianic Judaism.
