The Feb. 25 Golden Mike gala at the Waldorf honored Disney-ABC media honcho Anne Sweeney. The gala, attended by more than 300 of the broadcast and cable industry’s big shots, raised half a million bucks for the Broadcasters Foundation of America, the only organization that offers ongoing financial assistance to broadcaster who are in dire straits due to illness or other adverse circumstances.
