U.S. financial markets saw mixed movement on Monday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average dippng 13.83, to 25,044.29. Nasdaq rose 21.67, to 7,841.87.
While Beasley shares suffered a severe drop, most of the other activity was ho-hum.
Entercom enjoyed a 15-cent rise to $8.15 — its highest closing price since mid-May.
Entravision was off 5 cents, to $4.70, on word that fans of its “Súper Estrella” brand will soon enjoy a resurrection of sorts in Los Angeles on Thursday. That’s when the 103.1 MHz simulcast of KDLD-FM in Santa Monica and KDLE-FM in Newport Beach will cease simulcasting “La Suavecita 107.1” and relaunch as a “classic rock en español” outlet under the name Súper Estrella Retro.
Sinclair Broadcast Group and Tribune Media each lost ground. SBGI shares were off 20 cents to $26.70; TRCO was down 15 cents to $32.90.
