Until now, he’s been VP/General Manager of CBS affiliate WGFL-28 and NBC affiliate WNBW-9 in Gainesville-Ocala, and before that ran Sinclair Broadcast Group‘s WTGS-28 in Savannah, Ga.
Now, he is combining that experience by running not only Sinclair owned-and-operated stations but also stations the broadcast TV company provides services to.
Cory Culleton is now VP/GM of ABC WEAR-3 and MyNetwork TV WFGX-35 in Pensacola, FL. Importantly, Culleton will also be responsible for oversight of providing services to NBC affiliate WPMI-15 and nonaffiliated WJTC-44 in Mobile. The latter two stations are licensed to Deerfield Media.
Rob Weisbord, Sinclair’s Chief Operating Officer and President of Broadcast, commented, “With over 20 years of experience in television, digital strategies and advertising sales, Cory has a long history of success throughout his career, and we are excited to have him lead the stations in Mobile-Pensacola.”
