The individual who most recently served as SVP/Digital Sales for Fox Network Group has been hired by the nation’s No. 1 radio broadcasting company — proving that it believes it is business as usual as it seeks approval of its Chapter 11 restructuring plan in a Texas federal bankruptcy court.

Justin Nesci has joined iHeartMedia as EVP/Advanced Audio and Data Revenue.

He reports to iHeart President of Digital and Audience Segment Revenue Strategy Carter Brokaw.

Taking a newly created role, Nesci will be responsible for developing a variety of data-driven audio strategies across iHeartMedia’s vast array of platforms.

Specifically, he will be looked upon to help steer SmartAudio, iHeart’s cloud-based audio planning and buying platform that allows marketers to bring audience-based buying strategies to iHeartMedia’s audio ecosystem.

As a consultant through his own J/T/N Advisors, Nesci has helped top media companies including iHeartMedia “accelerate revenue generation through emerging digital and social media channels,” iHeart says.

Nesci has held executive roles in digital sales, strategy and marketing for Viacom, Federated Media and Warner Music Group.
