A New NPR Member Station Takes Shape In Texas

In February 2019, RBR+TVBR reported on the loss of NPR’s lone member station in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, effectively leaving market No. 56 without a public radio property offering non-secular programming.


Now, it appears a different market in the Lone Star State is getting an NPR member station of its own, offering a local option in place of out-of-market options from Dallas and from Louisiana.
