LBI Media Ownership Asks Opened For Public Comment


LBI Media, the Burbank, Calif.-based Hispanic media company no longer led by a member of the founding Liberman family, is seeking a FCC waiver allowing for up to 100% foreign investment.

At the same time, the Media Bureau is seeking the public’s say in a plan to transfer six stations from shareholders of one entity to another in a move interwoven with the company’s emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
