A Top ESPN+ Exec Added To NYF Advisory Board

The VP and Executive Producer of Original Content at ESPN+ is the newest member of the New York Festivals’ TV & Film Awards Advisory Board.


Brian M. Lockhart joins a panel of prominent industry executives whose experience and expertise provide counsel to the global TV & Film Awards competition.

“As an award-winning content creator, Brian’s expertise in narrative formats is both impressive and extensive,” said Rose Anderson, VP & Executive Director of the awards. “With his addition to the Board, we gain the perspective of someone with deep insights into the paths to the future.”

Lockhart brings over 20 years industry expertise to the TV & Film Advisory Board. As a top executive for ESPN’s subscription-based streaming service, he is responsible for overseeing strategy and development for all ESPN+ original programming initiatives, including new projects as well as existing shows.

Prior to his role at ESPN, Brian spent more than a decade at NFL Media as VP/Executive Producer of Original Content.


At the 2019 NYF TV & Film Awards, ESPN earned the Grand Award for their series “30 for 30” in addition to multiple Gold, Silver and Bronze World Medals for their features and documentaries.
