Three executives holding Vice President titles within Hearst Television have been bumped up to Senior Vice President, respectively.

  • VP/Distribution Nicholas Radziul is now SVP/Distribution and Government Affairs. He adds government relations to his existing responsibilities for Hearst Television’s distribution rights agreements, including network affiliations, retransmission consent transactions and program-syndication agreements.
  • VP/Human Resources Katherine Barnett is now SVP/Human Resources
  • VP/Promotion and Marketing Suzanne Grethen is now SVP/Promotion and Marketing

All report directly to Hearst Television President Jordan Wertlieb.

“They are part of an exceptional management team at Hearst Television that is helping to build our company for the future,” he said.

Radziul joined Hearst Television in 2016 from CBS Corporation, where he was VP of Strategic Transactions, advising on retransmission consent negotiations, affiliation agreements, and multiplatform distribution. Before that, Radziul was the Senior Counsel for Programming at Cablevision, where he drafted and negotiated cable affiliation, VOD, retransmission-consent and TVE agreements, and advised on programming regulations, copyrights, and franchising, among other areas.

Grethen, who has served in her most recent role since 2011 and with Hearst Television stations since 1993, works with stations to position and market the unique value of their brands to local audiences. Prior to moving to the company’s New York headquarters in 2011, she was creative services director at WESH-2 in Orlando, a NBC affiliate. Prior to that, she served as Creative Services Director for WISN-TV, the Hearst ABC affiliate in Milwaukee.
