HOLLYWOOD, FLA. — It may be the steamy and humid, but that won’t stop Caroline Beasley from appearing in a “fireside chat” at the posh Vinoy hotel in St. Petersburg at the Florida Association of Broadcasters (FAB)‘s annual convention.

The CEO of Naples-based Beasley Media Group, which operates five FMs, an FM translator airing a classic salsa format, and “Money Talk” WHFS-AM 1010 in Tampa-St. Petersburg, will sit with FAB President/CEO Pat Roberts in a keynote luncheon discussion at the event, scheduled for June 28.

Ms. Beasley has been involved in her family’s company since 1983 and rose to CEO on Jan. 1, 2017. She currently serves as the Joint Board Chair of the NAB Board of Directors and is a past Chairman of the NAB Radio Board. In addition, she is a member of the BMI Board of Directors and the Broadcasters Foundation of America Board of Directors.

In 2017, Ms. Beasley was honored by Radio Ink as “Radio Executive of the Year” and was named by the Streamline Publishing magazine as one of the “40 Most Powerful People in Radio” in 2011, 2012, 2016 and 2017. In addition, she has been recognized in Radio Ink’s “Most Influential Women in Radio” listing on an annual basis since 2003.

FAB’s Annual Convention will be held June 27-28, 2018. Events will begin at 1:30pm on June 27th, and conclude the evening of June 28th.
