ABC Radio Networks and Comcast Entertainment Group signed a product development and distribution agreement that will bring branded content from E! Entertainment, The Style Network and G4 to terrestrial radio audiences for the first time. Program offerings will include celebrity and entertainment news from E!, women’s lifestyle programming from Style and the latest on technology, web culture and video games from G4. All content will be available to stations on-air and online.
“This agreement is another vital step in our commitment to delivering compelling content for the 18-49 demographic to our affiliates and will provide stations with an array of broadcast and online entertainment features and tools,” said Carl Anderson, SVP/Programming and Distribution for ABCRN."
E! will offer stations an array of radio-formatted news and information content in addition to proven broadband video content for stations’ websites. With original shows created for radio and digital platforms such as E! News Now, the programming will provide instant credibility with a station’s listeners, many of whom are likely already devoted E! enthusiasts.
Style’s original offerings will appeal to women with inspiring and relatable lifestyle content, including Style Tips, which will cover topics like beauty, fashion, home and wedding planning. G4’s original programming will offer content for today’s “plugged in” young guys seeking the latest computer, gadget and technology news in addition to video game previews, reviews and cheats.
