On its second night of coverage, ABC News’ Your Voice, Your Vote – 2012 Republican National Convention spiked over the prior night by double digits with Adults 18-49 (+17%) and Adults 25-54 (+13%). In fact, ABC was the only broadcaster to grow night to night in the key Adult 25-54 news demo. During Wednesday’s 10 o’clock hour, ABC News’ Republican National Convention coverage beat out CBS News’ coverage by 17% in Adults 18-49 and by 13% in Adults 25-54. ABC was the only broadcaster to gain viewers during the 10 o’clock hour with its RNC coverage, increasing by +8% from its first half-hour to its second half-hour. NBC’s viewers dropped -16% from start to finish, while CBS lost -3% of its overall audience during its telecast.
