This is a bigger deal than is being made here. WMGM-TV is New Jersey’s ONLY commercial newtwork affilliate television station, NBC-TV. Yes, the only one in the entire state. It is the last of the “hometown” Local TV stations with full service Local Newscasts. Although sometimes regarded as a shoestring operation, the station is revered for its Public Service and News Coverage, especially during storms. Hard as they try, Philly TV just doesn’t get us down here at the shore.
