A self-described “pioneer in driving the evolution of radio” has unveiled “ad sync” technology that allows broadcasters to pair client logos and custom text with their over-the-air advertisements on HD Radio receivers.
The ad sync technology from Quu (pronounced “Q”) will be visible on HD Radio receivers that are enabled with the Artist Experience feature, allowing local stations to enhance their over-the-air advertisements with client logos and text to enabled receivers in vehicles within their markets.
The ad sync patented technology provides an opportunity for broadcasters to generate additional revenue today with technology that is already currently available in the marketplace.
Quu President/CEO Joe Harb said, “Our broadcast partners now have the opportunity to expand their advertising reach within vehicle with both logos and text, meaningfully adding to the connected vehicle experience.”
Harb will be in attendance at Radio Show 2019 to discuss the new product launch. It is part of a session moderated by Jacobs Media’s Fred Jacobs scheduled for Sept. 26 at 3:30pm Central.
