Alaskan Radio Entity Now Faces Reduced Fines

The NALs were an unfortunate result of serious violations of the FCC’s rules that came to light after the operator indicated it wishes to sell this station, but first renew its license.

On Wednesday (10/17), the Media Bureau’s Audio Division Chief cancelled the bigger of the two proposed fines while issuing a smaller forfeiture order associated with this Class A noncomm’s two FM translators.
