KETTERING, OHIO — The MVPD formerly tied to Cincinnati Bell has reached a comprehensive multi-year distribution agreement covering the Nexstar NBC affiliate serving Dayton and Nexstar-owned cable news network NewsNation in both the Gem City and in Cincinnati.
Nexstar Media Group and altafiber have reached a comprehensive multi-year distribution agreement covering WDTN-2, the NBC affiliate serving Dayton.
The agreement, importantly, also includes national cable news network NewsNation. This brings the offering to altafiber’s Cincinnati and Dayton subscribers.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“We are pleased to announce this partnership with Nexstar as we expand into the Dayton market with our best-in-class fiber Internet service, and to give our Cincinnati customers access to NewsNation,” Jason Praeter, President and General Manager of altafiber’s Network Division, said.
