Ireland’s premier media company and the home of some of Europe’s leading commercial media brands has selected Wedel Software‘s MediaSales platform to unify station operations — and to streamline its workflow.
Communicorp Media needed “a robust, comprehensive media management solution” to keep track of inventory and streamline workflows across their enterprise.
In its view, the MediaSales Suite from Wedel Software was the top solution to meet its needs.

Wedel works with radio, television, and cable organizations around the world to help them effectively manage their advertising schedules and related revenue by providing “a fully integrated suite of solutions that make it possible for them to manage the entire revenue cycle from initial lead status to completed campaign.”
Communicorp owns and operates a portfolio of media channels with a strong focus on commercial radio and emerging digital media. The company maintains some of the largest independent radio networks in Ireland and the United Kingdom; in February 2014 eight regional U.K. radio stations joined the Communicorp stable: Capital networks in Scotland and South Wales, Heart networks in Yorkshire and North Wales, Smooth Radio networks in the North East, North West and East Midlands, and XS in the city of Manchester.
This makes it the fourth-largest radio group in the United Kingdom.
In Ireland, the company is known for the Spin brand of CHR stations, AC network Today FM, and Hot AC 98fm in Dublin, among other properties.
