At 1220 kHz and from its FM translator at 98.1 MHz, Jeri Lyn Broadcasting’s KHTS serves the Santa Clarita Valley of Los Angeles as a hyperlocal radio station offering a mix of music and information of specific interest to those in communities such as Valencia, Newhall and Stevenson Ranch.

Little did owner Carl Goldman and wife Jeri Serrati-Goldman know that they’d be attracting attention for something that has little to do with their station, owned since 1990, and everything to do with the biggest global health scare of 2020.

The Goldmans are quarantined inside their cabin on the Princess Cruises Diamond Princess for 15 days, in Yokohama, Japan. On Tuesday evening, local time, they checked in with Streamline Publishing with an update on their status.
