One of the radio broadcasting industry’s most exclusive and important annual events, known as “Radio’s Financial Summit,” has secured one of the most important individuals in the U.S. marketing and advertising industry as this year’s Co-Chair.

Forecast is pleased to announce that Bob Liodice, CEO of the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), will co-chair Forecast 2020 with Cumulus Media President/CEO Mary Berner.

Forecast is radio’s annual business and financial summit that brings together industry leaders, investors, visionaries, and prognosticators for a day of information, ideas, and discussions centered around the future of the radio industry, its multi-faceted platforms, and the continually changing landscape in which it competes.

Recognized for its executive-focused agenda, Forecast is held annually at the Harvard Club in New York City. This year’s event will be presented on November 20, 2019, concluding with the networking event of the year, the annual “Top 40” cocktail reception, honoring the 40 Most Powerful People in Radio.

“We are extremely excited to have Bob Liodice join Mary Berner in co-chairing this year’s Forecast,” said Streamline Executive Vice President and Publisher Deborah Parenti. “The opportunity to have input from the national advertisers’ perspective in planning the Forecast agenda is something that everyone with a vested interest in radio should find of great interest and even greater benefit. Along with Mary Berner, who has graciously committed her time and efforts in delivering a compelling program, this promises to be a terrific and thought-provoking event.”

“I’m looking forward to being the Co-Chair at Forecast 2020 with Mary Berner,” Liodice said. “We’re going to explore the key business, creative, technology, and measurement issues brands and the radio industry need to focus on and discuss how to meet the challenges of today’s marketplace.”

As ANA CEO, Liodice leads an organization whose membership includes more than 1,100 companies representing an estimated 25,000 of the most powerful and influential brands in the world — brands that collectively spend $400 billion in marketing and advertising each year.

Before becoming CEO, Liodice served as EVP at the ANA, responsible for member relations and business development; he joined the company as senior VP in 1995. Prior to that he was VP of global marketing and sales for Grupo Televisa. His other experience includes more than 15 years in marketing and financial management at Kraft General Foods and tenure as category marketing manager for the Jell-O and Bakers brands.
