When it comes to the use of spot radio to lure consumers, there’s presently no one brand that comes close to the efforts on AM and FM radio stations from The Home Depot.

For the week ending July 22, the home improvement retailer’s play count comes at more than 20,000 more than the No. 2 advertiser using radio during the same period.

As shown in the chart below, The Home Depot is the big No. 1 thanks to some 62,033 spots played on the stations iHeart-owned Media Monitors tracks.

Direct competitor Lowe’s lags with 20,464 plays.

No. 3 GEICO was tracked with 38,787 plays.

Surging into the latest Spot Ten Radio report is Sprint, with 29,102 spots.

Also of note are new efforts for Office Depot and Ford Motor Company.
