Three seats are open for election to the Arbitron Radio Advisory Council, which meets regularly with the ratings company to discuss concerns and needs regarding both PPM and diary ratings for radio. Nominations are due September 25th.
The open seats are for:
1) One member from a 1-50 Continuous Market
2) One member from a 51+ Market
3) One member from any market / 2 Time Standard (not condensed)
Each seat is for a three-year term and begins January 1, 2010. To be eligible, you must be a General Manager or higher and involved in the daily operation of a radio station or group.
Certification Forms must be returned to Arbitron by September 25, 2009.
The names of those who return the form and meet the qualifications will be placed on an Election Ballot. The ballot will be sent to Arbitron client radio stations in the above categories on October 5, 2009.
