Aretha Franklin, the “Queen of Soul” will host a special guest DJ session on SIRIUS XM’s Soul Town channel. During the special, she will share some of her favorite Christmas songs by artists including Nat King Cole, Charles Brown, the O’Jays, BeBe & CeCe Winans and Donny Hathaway. The guest DJ session will also include songs from her first ever Christmas album, The Christmas, Aretha.
SIRIUS channel 53 and XM channel 60, Sunday, 12/20 at 6:00 pm ET. The special guest DJ session will be rebroadcast on Thursday, December 24 at 6:00 pm ET.
Soul Town plays the best classic soul from the ‘60s and early ‘70s. Listeners will hear Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, The Supremes and more.
