NEW YORK — One of the biggest messages sent to marketers attending television network Upfront presentations this week was “scale.”
For NBCUniversal, the ability to give a client access to cable and broadcast networks in both Spanish and English was a big selling point. Other networks talked up their cross-marketing platforms, too, at events geared to media buyers and ad agency heads.
Yet, Entercom Communications and Townsquare Media have been touting scale for some time. With digital platforms seeing growth at both companies and a large employee roster of millennials at each company’s Manhattan offices, its a story of “scale” that simply hasn’t been told enough.
