Newsradio 1230 WNRR-AM in Augusta GA is getting new ownership. John and Dana Summers and their Savannah River Radio Inc. are stepping forward to pick up the station from MSbuttoni LLC.

The seller, headed by Michael J. Sbuttoni, stands to pick up $535K for the station, in a compensation package that calls for a $35K escrow deposit and a $500K promissory note. The parties will also enter into a stock pledge agreement.

The station is home to a smorgasbord of syndicated talk talent, built around the local offerings of Tony Powers, who holds down a 3PM-6PM airshift. Glenn Beck, Mancow, Dennis Miller, Phil Hendrie, Jason Lewis and Rusty Humphries are also heard on the station.
