There’s a new No. 1 at the top of the latest Media Monitors Spot Ten Cable report. But, there’s no change of what the top advertiser category is for spot cable.
The auto insurance category remains hot, and it’s just a matter of what brand is outdelivering its competitor with respect to weekly spot play count.
Now at No. 1, as shown below, is GEICO. They’ve bested No. 2 Progressive, and are the lone brands with more than 40,000 spot plays, respectively, at spot cable for the week ending July 15.
Meanwhile, Allstate and Liberty Mutual Insurance are No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.
The lone brand in the top 5 not to be offering insurance? Burger King.
