AVID’s Trade Show Return Comes With IBC 2022

Noting the improved global conditions related to COVID-19, including the safe and effective execution of recent trade shows, Avid Technology will host an IBC2022 exhibition floor stand to feature its latest innovations in cloud-based production and remote collaboration for media creation teams in film and television.

It marks Avid’s return to exhibiting at large media and entertainment industry trade shows.

IBC2022 is scheduled from September 9-12, 2022, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Avid President/CEO Jeff Rosica commented, “Avid is proceeding carefully by keeping our eye on safety first. We’re confident that the improving conditions and handling of the pandemic can help to ensure that IBC2022 can be a successful gathering for our industry.”

While IBC2022 marks the resumption of Avid’s gradual return to exhibiting its products, it will do so “with a more limited scope than previous years.” This, Rosica explains, will be done so it may focus on its customers’ most pressing needs.”

This includes remote collaboration and migrating their workflows to the cloud.

Rosica comments, “Avid’s product innovation has accelerated over the last two years. We have a lot to show and we’re pleased to have this exhibition back in our marketing mix especially for the convenience of our many enterprise customers across in broadcast, film and post-production.”
