Awards and promotions in the Black Hills

KEVN-TV (Fox) Rapid City, SD is celebrating the ratings for its late newscast and accolades from its network. And while the celebrating is going on, four staffers have gotten promotions.


KEVN was recently honored as a Fox #1 Affiliate station, helping make Fox the #1 network (18-49) for the sixth consecutive year. This most coveted award, one that KEVN has received eight out of the past ten years, is reached by being #1 in prime time with 18-49 year old viewers. KEVN TV is also proud to have the most viewed late newscast according to the most recent Nielsen ratings data.

William Reyner, Chairman and CEO of KEVN Inc. stated, “It is with great pleasure and pride
that we announce this award and announce the promotions of four employees who have spent most of their careers at KEVN – a total of 62 years. Together with our outstanding News Department under the leadership of Jack Caudill, this team is deeply involved in and devoted to the community and responsible for the success and remarkable growth of KEVN.”

Cindy McNeill, General Manager, has been promoted to President of KEVN Inc. and will
continue to serve as General Manager of the station. Bob Slocum, CFO of KEVN Inc. has been promoted to Station Manager, overseeing the daily operations. Nancy Reber, Local Sales
Manager, has been promoted to take on the additional duties of Regional Sales Manager.
Alissia Hirchert, Traffic Director, has been promoted to National Sales Manager and Traffic
Operations Manager.

KEVN-TV has been serving Rapid City and the Black Hills region since July of 1976.
