The NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship game drew lots of viewers for CBS, with the network noting that the game had its strongest 18-49 ratings since 2005. Even so, the game was only the #4 show for the week in total viewership and Household ratings. CBS itself even had one show ahead of it, CSI. Number one, of course, was "American Idol" on Fox, with ABC’s "Dancing With the Stars" in second place.
CBS barely won the HH crown with a 6.6 rating and 11 share. Fox was next at 6.1/10, then ABC 5.3/9, NBC 4.3/7, Univision 1.8/3, CW 1.3/2, Telemundo and MyNetworkTV tied at 0.7/1, Ion and TeleFutura tied at 0.4/1 and finally Azteca America 0.1/0.
In the key 18-49 demo, it was Fox, CBS, ABC, NBC, Univision, CW, Telemundo, a tie by TeleFutura and MyNetworkTV, and another tie by Ion and Azteca America.
