BIN In Houston? It’s As Easy As X-Y-Z

In Houston’s downtown area, lifeless mannequins draped in the latest attire stand stiff and silent in the shops, which a few hours ago buzzed with the excitement of bargain-hunting shoppers… now relaxing at home to Beautiful KXYZ Music.

That famous liner aired on a Houston radio station in the 1960s, under ABC ownership. In 1983, after a short period of ownership by Slater Broadcasting, it ended up in Infinity Broadcasting hands, becoming a Spanish-language property that in 1998 was acquired for former Spanish-language News/Talk network Radio Unica and eventually ended up in the hands of Multicultural Radio Broadcasting.

Now, the company is selling it. It’s poised to become the market’s home for BIN: Black Information Network.
