Senator Richard Blumenthal, “proudly working for the people of Connecticut,” has interjected himself into the latest retransmission fee agreement failure to plague America — one that pits the soon-to-be largest owner of broadcast TV stations in the U.S. against a telecommunications giant with a DBS provider, traditional MVPD and “skinny bundle” option in its arsenal.
On Tuesday afternoon, a host of other Capitol Hill legislators followed Blumenthal’s lead.
