A company known for its compliance monitoring and logging systems for broadcast and television organizations has brought Bob Valinski on to lead sales in the Northeastern United States, as well as strategic top-tier accounts.
Valinski is Vela’s fourth sales hire in as many months, as the organization looks to expand interest in its Smart-Logging product in the U.S.
Vela VP of Worldwide Sales Ken Rubin said, “Bob has shown himself to be a sales leader throughout his career and has a track record of proven success. His deep knowledge and understanding of customer environments stemming from his earliest experience as a station engineer, and his extensive career working closely with leading broadcast and programming customers is a perfect fit with the personality and character of Vela and our sales team.”
Bob joins Vela from VizRT, where he handed sales across the Northeast corridor.
His career includes stints as an applications engineer at Grass Valley and as a sales executive at Crispin, ParkerVision, Harmonic/Omneon, and Orad/Avid.
Bob’s first order of business at Vela will be to assist broadcast organizations that may be looking for a replacement for other compliance logging and monitoring solutions, such as Volicon.
