At its December 2019 Open Meeting, the FCC issued a Notice of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture in the amount of $151,005 against Boston-based Acerome Jean-Charles, found to have operated a pirate radio station.
While that forfeiture amount is hefty, one Gerlens Cesar was presented with a whopping $453,015 fine for his involvement in a Boston-area unlicensed radio operation.
Now, the Commission has reached Consent Decrees with each of the broadcast buccaneers.
