Legislation introduced July 25 by a North Carolina Democratic Congressman that would promote diversity of ownership in the broadcast industry by reestablishing the Minority Tax Certificate Program is one of 38 bills on the markup docket for a Wednesday session of the powerful House Energy & Commerce Committee.
And, it is the second bill up for debate and discussion on the committee’s lengthy list.
