Carat USA reorganizes top management

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it? Nonetheless, following 18 months of growth, adding Beiersdorf, JM Smuckers, Red Bull, Relativity Media, Diageo, Walt Disney Park & Resorts and The Home Depot ($2B in net new business), Carat announced key changes to its management team structure. Effective 7/1, Doug Ray (EVP since 10/08 after leaving DiMassimo Brand Advertising as managing partner) is appointed President of Carat USA, reporting to Nigel Morris, CEO of Aegis Media North America.


Current Carat President Martin Cass moves from Carat USA to Aegis Media NA where he will build a new team within the group to support Aegis’ vision of the convergent agency of the future. He will continue to report to Nigel Morris. Cass tells RBR-TVBR in six weeks he will be able to tell us about the new team at Aegis he’s spearheading.

Steven Feuling, currently Managing Director, East, is appointed to the new position of Chief Client Officer, Carat USA, reporting to Ray. While he maintains a hands-on role with several key clients, including Pfizer and The Home Depot, Steven’s responsibilities will now be extended across Carat’s full client portfolio.
