Caroline Beasley Goes To Canada

TORONTO — One of the most influential broadcast media leaders in the U.S. is ready to share her view from the corner office to the leaders of Canada’s radio broadcasting community, come mid-May.


Canadian Music Week (CMW), the nation’s biggest music industry conference, has secured Beasley Media Group CEO Caroline Beasley as a featured speaker for the Super Session “A Radio Executive’s View from the ‘Corner Office’ Super Session.”

Beasley will appear on Friday, May 11 at the conference, which will take place at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel as part of a two-day Radio Interactive Summit, which begins May 10.

Beasley was appointed CEO of Beasley Media Group on Jan. 1, 2017, previously serving as interim CEO from March 18, 2016 until December 31st, 2016 and as EVP/CFO, Treasurer and Secretary beginning in 1994. She joined the company in 1983.

In 2017, she was honored by Radio INK magazine as “Radio Executive of the Year”. Ms. Beasley was named one of the “40 Most Powerful People in Radio” in 2011, 2012, 2016 and 2017. In addition, she has been recognized in the magazine’s “Most Influential Women in Radio” listing on an annual basis since 2003.

A Radio Executive’s View from the ‘Corner Office’ will feature several radio presidents and directors covering the overall positioning of the radio today, its future, and how digital fits into the landscape.
