With Holiday programming and an NFL game derailed by weather, the TV ratings for Christmas Week were rather unusual. NBC still ran “Football Night in America,” although it should have been renamed “No Football Tonight in America,” and managed to tie for #14 for the week in Nielsen’s Household ratings. The #1 show in HH was a rerun of “NCIS” on CBS. The Eye Network claimed the HH crown and Fox won for the prized 18-49 demo.
“The OT” on Fox was tops in the 18-49 demo, owing to the lack of an “NBC Sunday Night Football” game. Univision placed three episodes of “Soy Tu Dueña” in the top 10 for 18-49, but its best showing in HH was a tie for #44.
In HH it was CBS with a 4.5 average rating and 8 share, Fox 3.1/6, ABC and NBC 2.9/5, Univision 1.5/3, Ion 0.9/2, CW 0.7/1, Telemundo 0.5/1, TeleFutura 0.4/1 and Azteca America and EstrellaTV 0.1/0.
In 18-49 it was Fox 1.8/6, CBS and NBC 1.4/4, ABC 1.3/4, Univision 1.2/4, CW, Ion, Telemundo and TeleFutura 0.4/1 and Azteca America and EstrellaTV 0.1/0.
